Blog 3: My dream job

 Hi everyone! I´m going to talk about my dream job.

I started  to study psychology because I really like to interact with people, listen their problems and help them with solutions, especially kids and teenagers. I want to work in the future at a center with kids, like the Sename, because when I was younger I made voluntary service there and another centers too, so I want to help the kids in there because I know that I can give to them skills to increase their quality of life, independent of the difficult situations that they live. For that, I´m gonna need a lot of skills to treat them, but I expect that this carreer bring me lots of skills to deal with the problems that I´m going to see there.

I don´t expect a lot of money from that work because I know that the public founds for that place are low and insufficient, but I can complement that work with a private counciling, which i´ts a nice work for me too. In this private counciling I would like to have different payments for every child, because I know that the money situation sometimes i´ts an impediment to have a good treatment, so, in that way, I can help a little their families and allow the children to have the treatment that they need.

    Hi Valentina! I like a lot what you want to do, kids are so important in the society, they deserve best and the system is cruel with them. I'm agree with you with the salary, is like, if we want to change the things we have to look after the most vulnerable people, and we can't demand money from them.     Hi Valentina! I also will love to work with teenagers and kids, they're so important to not being ignored. And it's so important to worry about who are in the SENAME, it's so good that you could do a voluntary service, it shows that you really care about it. I'm really happy to read your blog :)

    Hello Valentina, I think that kids in psychology are a very important and interesting area that tends to be forgotten, even more so in today's fast-paced reality, where are no assertive policies on the real needs of children and neither a great comprehension of their imaginaries, so we have to do something and makes me really happy that you want to no matter what. Hi everyone! In this case, I´m going to write about my experience learning English at university. I think English here is so much better than the school, because there I just learnt about grammar and not so much about talking, listening or writing, so I preffer English at university because it´s more fluid and I could improve my English skills by talking with classmates or seeing a video. I believe that the thing that I like most of the program is the social aspect that the classes have, including themes like racism, feminism and othe topics that makes the class more enjoyable and funny. Blog 1: A country I would like to visit

Hi! My name is Valentina and I would talk about the country that I would like to visit the most, Thailand. I want to go to this country because I'm really interest in their culture, and I think that they have beautiful landscapes, specially the Phi-Phi islands, which I think that it's the place that I want to visit more in there, but I want to visit the capital of the country too, Bangkok. I want to be really involved in they culture, know more about the religion because the Buddism is the most relevant religion there, and I wanna learn more about it, the traditions like the anual festival "Loy Krathong" in Chiang Mai, (the second city that I want to visit the most) and another celebrations, and (obviously) eat a lot of traditional Thai food. I hope to go there for six months to a year, to know better the culture and the traditions, and also to travel a lot and see lots of lovely landscapes. Blog 2: The best vacation ever

 Hi everybody! I´m going to talk about my best vacations ever. The best vacations that I ever had was in 2017. I went to the south of Chile. It was for two weeks, and I went with my parents. It was really beautiful because I want to travel there since I was a kid, but I didn´t have the oportunity to go before, and as a family we never did a trip for that long before, and so far too. The best part that I visited was Huilo Huilo, which i´ts a biological reserve, and it has a big forest, animals from that zone and waterfalls. Also, I went to Villarica, and we went to see the volcano and we did trekking there. We met Pucon too, and we stayed in this beautiful cabin closet o te river. It was a really good experience to live with my family, and I hope that we can do that trip again (without covid please hahah), and visit other places near too, like Valdivia.
