Blog 6: English Language Challenge

Hi everyone!

In this case, I´m going to write about my experience learning English at university. I think English here is so much better than the school, because there I just learnt about grammar and not so much about talking, listening or writing, so I preffer English at university because it´s more fluid and I could improve my English skills by talking with classmates or seeing a video. I believe that the thing that I like most of the program is the social aspect that the classes have, including themes like racism, feminism and othe topics that makes the class more enjoyable and funny.

I believe that the use of blogs is very helpful, because it´s difficult to me to write in English, sometimes I know how to say a word but I don´t know how to write it haha, so the blogs were very helpful in that way for me.  

I think that I need to improve writing, because it still is difficult to me and I think that a great way to improve this is mix listening with writing, maybe when I listen to music I could write the lyrics so in that way I can improve both skills.

I use English outside the class mostly watching series, because I like to watch them in the original language, and much of the series or movies that I like are in English, although that I´m still watching them with subtitles, one day I hope that I could watch them completely in English. I think that this class was very helpful to improve my skills in English and have a great progress talking, writing and listening the lenguage. Thanks!
